Children, Families, Work and Community are the cornerstones of our American society. Our goal is that by the year 2020, parents can better balance their family and work lives and that our economy can sustain quality jobs and full health benefits. In the next decade, we hope all children can grow up in safe and stable families and that strong communities provide the many social services needed to achieve a quality education leading to good jobs and prosperous futures.
CCMC’s Equality 2020 project promotes full equality for women in the United States and around the world.
CCMC’s Global Population, Health and Development 2015 program works to achieve broad improvements in reproductive health outcomes by increasing access to services, promoting policy changes, mobilizing resources and empowering women and their families. The year 2015 is the marker of the 20-year Programme of Action agreed upon at the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) and the realization of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) adopted in 2000. Both agreements guide our work in this area.
